There are a number of credits available in the ecology category of the Code for Sustainable Homes. Most of these credits are only available when a report is produced by a suitably qualified ecologist. The information that in the ecology report includes:
- the ecological value of the site
- measures to enhance the ecological value of the site
- protection of ecological features
- change in ecological value of the site
